I just want to be enough for you 

enough to keep you here

but i'm scared because you're beautiful 

and nothing beautiful stays 

Even the most beautiful paintings fade away

the acrylic details chipped away by the punishment of time 

but it was beautiful once...

wasn't it?

am i to you as you are to me>

the most beautiful piece to a damaged puzzle

because you can not fix me 

but you can fill me 

Fill me with so much love we can swim in it 

and i would willingly drown in it 

throwing away my left vest and 

sinking peacefully to the bottom

I want to keep you here 

but only if you want to stay 

because too many times

i've held on when i should've let go 

but with you i don't have to 

so if im enough for you to stay 

just know you're enough for me too

and if one day you decide to leave

just know it'll be okay

I like this. It is the first poem i have read of yours. I know what you are saying here. And following through with "Just know it'll be okay". Have you been able to swim? That is the everlasting question based on what you deliver here. Best of luck. Benuff. It tells me to be satisfied. Then again there is that hope, to swim.
