I’m not waiting anymore
For anyone
Because no one knows me like I do
I’m the only one who knows
How to love me

The only one who truly knows
How I think
And I’m at peace with knowing
No one else’s will be my savior
Knowing no one else will wipe away my tear stained cheeks

I’m not sad to know

It’s freeing to know I’m not anyone’s anything
Even when I’m someone’s everything
Because at the end of the day

When the sun sets
And the moon shines
The only person I belong to is me

The only everything and anything
I’ll ever, always be
Is belonging only to me
