I don't know when it happened
I don't know when I started to smile when I heard your voice
I don't know when it started to sound like music to me

I don't know when I saw it
I don't know when I saw the way your eyes crinkled when you laughed
I don't know when it became my favorite sight

I don't know when I felt it
I don't know when your hands touching my shoulder made me blush
I don't know when it became my favorite sensation

I just know it happened
I just know it was seen
I just know it was felt

I just know that I can't hear you talk without lingering on your words

I just know that I can't see your smile without my stomach doing flips

I just know that I can't touch your hand without never wanting to let it go

This is my secret . This is my hidden reality.

I don't know when it happened.
But it did.

Somehow along the way
In between our late night talks
during our dinner outings
With nothing more to guide me
than your laugh

I fell

Completely

And irrevocably

in love with you.
