I feel you again

as I often do

when I watch a movie

or hear a song

That hollow thumping

echoing in my ribs

and through my chest

It's completely recognizable to me

that the emptiness has your name

your signature carved with pen

I dont know when it happened

When i started looking for you

Searching every face

All I know is

that no matter how i pretend 

or cast a wish into the sky

They will never be

you.
