Memories of the Unknown

Memories of the Unknown

A Poem by AiH
"

a quick poem i wrote in like 3 minutes

"
my lips miss the texture of silk that they never felt
my eyes miss the sight of illumination of someone iv never met
my hands miss the caress of the rough fingers they've never grazed
my arms miss the embrace that crushed me to ribs iv never touched
my ears miss the sound of pleasure filled sighs that they've never heard
its a craving really
a hunger that lives deep inside the caves of my amethyst filled walls
its a desire that runs as freely through me
as the blood that travels through my veins
With strained attempt
i press my my ear to the spiral of a lost conch shell
wishing that for just a moment
instead of hearing the ocean, or the beat of my heart
that i will hear your laugh echo through the deserted spiral
