At War

At War

A Poem by AiH

i hate this
this perpetual ringing in my head
like a dog whistle
designed only to bring the end of my demise
but slow
tedious

I hate the boundlessness
this infinite collision
with the rest of the world
and myself

like no matter the continued war
the abundance of carnage
blows at me
continue

I think I can relate to this. Sometimes I feel like no matter what I do I'm set up to be in conflict with all there is. Fortunately, it goes away after some while.
