Jealous

Jealous

A Poem by AiH

I’m jealous of the ones, who can simply go to sleep

I’m jealous of the ones, with souls that do not weep

I’m jealous of the confidence that oozes from your pores

I’m jealous all you fight are battles

When all I fight are wars

I’m jealous of the happiness, most feel from deep within

I’m jealous I am tainted

With sadness and with sin

I’m jealous you see future

While all I see is past

I’m jealous my hearts empty

While yours is very vast
