There IS hope..

There IS hope..

I can see it.. although it hides...
beneath a moonless still winters night

A faint light at first, as the wind bitterly blows
I wrap my arms about my self looking for warmth

The light grows a bit brighter almost every day
Some days.. beneath newly fallen snow.. it hides
some days I am just buying some time

Each day .. I look for it and I know
From inside is where my Hope fully grows!
