Am I such a monster, am I so dense

To know that my love thinks I have no sense

I run all day, only to lag behind

Can you not see my agony deep inside

I hide it away but the your words find their mark

They thrust deep into what is left of my heart

Tearing away at me piece by piece

The shreds left behind will never be complete
