You’ll slowly forget me

When I’ll be here no more

This is what’s meant to be

With time and life’s flow.

 

Sometimes in your sea of dreams

If I can reach the shore

My shadow is what you may find

Deep down in your core.

 

But you’ll find my soul in you

If you know where to start

The sound of my silence

Will resound in your heart.

This reminds me of a song by James Blunt. wow! so beautifully written. Very painful.

The lines are good, no doubt. But somehow the feeling that you want to express gets lost somewhere in between and the message does not comes clear to the reader. May be you intended it that way.
