The God of My Love

The God of My Love

A Poem by Parsa
"

It's a poem about appreciating the people whom we love that how extraordinary and special they are in our eyes

"
My love is
Nothing more
Nothing less
He is the perfect blend of tea
That I yearn to feel on my lips
He is in the perfect shade of
Coziest dark stained walnut wood
My love is
Nothing more
Nothing less
He's the epitome of grace and strength
His grip is
Heavenly skies in the hands of Atlas
That I yearn to feel in home again
My love is
Nothing more
Nothing less
He is the finest wine aged forever
That I yearn to taste for a psychedelic trip
My love is
Nothing more
Nothing less
He is the perfect note
Beethoven made
That I yearn to listen
Stopping my heartbeats
In fear of missing out
Any blissful bit
My love is
Nothing more
Nothing less
He is the sunshine warming my hypothermic soul
That I yearn to adorn
Like Briseis loved the temple of Apollo
My love is
Nothing more
Nothing less
He's the waves of Northumberland's Bamburgh that glitter in a moonlight
That I yearn to walk by so that the wind can sweep me off my feet.
My love is nothing but perfect.

Author's Note

Parsa
Well dark stained wood means the color of beautiful skin tone, psychedelic trip is used for making it understand how dreamy it feels to be with him,the Beethoven reference is made to describe the out of the world beautiful voice and when heard, how it makes the writer feel like she can't feel her heart beating.Bamburgh is a sea which is north to the airport of Newcastle,England.Well the sea reference is made to describe the beautiful hair and how breathtaking it looked when it was set in fashion.
