Love and sin

Love and sin

A Poem by Parsa
"

This poem reflects about the seven deadly sins and how it is closely related to being in love and shows a perception that love and vices can go parallelly but love is ecstasic in its own way.

"
"Would you let me be your canvas tonight?"
He said,"I prefer not"
"Not even I pledge before you every inch of my sovereignty for you to take control?"
He said,"I paint sinners and goddesses don't sin".
"Goddesses love",she said eagerly.
"You live in light and bear the fruits of moral in your womb,
You never know darkness and the children of sins"him reluctantly heading towards his canvas.
As she sees his back and fear conquer her heart
The back is wall unbreakable
The words are signs of no negotiation
"Would you believe I'm a sinner?"gentle breeze plays with her open hair.
"How do goddesses sin?"he smirks in insolence.
"Goddesses love"- her wishful eyes gazing upon his shoulder wanting to be looked at.
Breezes become storm as she goes on
Fighting with the waves of her surging predilection of him.
The thunder of love strikes her every cell of the body.
"What do I lack to a petty creature like you to accept my offerings?
How dare you to revoke gods
How dare you to provoke gods?"
He bents to pick up his brush and says,"Goddesses do take pride".
"Say not a word,I will rule over that canvas, you shall never paint anything but me,I covet you,you will be all mine."
Furnishing the brush on the canvas he says,"Goddesses are greedy."
Golden robe lying on the floor, bare the body, heart full on lust, she reaches to touch the untouchable.
"Come to me,"seductress she is.
Another stroke on the canvas as he says,"Goddesses are lustful."
Poison pouring in the glass,as red as Shiraz from some oldest wine cellar.
"This has been my Elixir, dawn to dusk."
Paint brushes goes on as he doesn't forget to remark,
"So gluttony touches goddesses too."
"I dismay the accomplices you have if not me,I loathe those petty humans who be on your canvas, the brushes you hold so dearly,I'm thousands of diamonds way worthy than them."
He moves his body slightly towards her to take the another brush but what he echoes cuts the raucous sound of the storm into"So much envy lingering over that crown."
Thunders now set fire, apocalypse threatens kingdoms, wrath prevails,
"Let the world be ruined, you be ruined for the price of denying the love I was besotted with."
His hands steadily working on his canvas, unbothered by all the ruckus while his mouth carving words,"Misguided outrage is all you have to offer?"
"This love has made me think about you as bishops chant the verses, day and night,as if nothing matters,or the lifeless statues of a temple,so much it says but can't move a bit."
"Haven't you become sloth?"-he smirks again.
"I've sinned through and through
Since been in love
All those sins,I won't withdraw
Won't these be ever enough?"
He looks at her with love flickering from his eyes
He walks to her
Sin unites with sin
Love unites with love
She looks past him
The canvas it is
It is her and only her he ever wanted it to be.
