Tirade of a screaming mind

Tirade of a screaming mind

A Poem by Parsa

Round and round
Here I am
Loner in the crowd of faces
"Is it too much to ask for?"
"Too much price already paid."
"Does it ever stop ?"
The lyrical ballad
With systemic rhythms
Of pain and love
Synergistic melancholy
Of hope and despair
Round and round
Here I am
Stoner in the temple of civility
"Is it too late to mend?"
"Too much blood been already shed"
"Does it get any better?"
The perfume that burns the skin
But smells good
Poison filling the air
In the camouflage of sweet scent.
Round and round
Endless loop of midnight screams
Playing on the gramophone of life.
You listen and deny
Round and round
Denial and ignorance mount up
In the valley of darkness.

Seems such a call for company, understanding, e. You surroundings seem to have you shackled. persecuted almost by havoc, noise and all. Your spirit and courage wrapped in pitch black Seems terrifying. Just read for a second time, noting the power of the phrases but - forgive me.. feel the helplessness has reached so deeply. Tragic.
Perhaps something to do with what has taken over our world.. how it's caged everyone, set fear. I see you are a thinker, a woman who wants to protect, defend - brava!
