The Devils due.

The Devils due.

A Poem by FoxHarlequin
"

Just something that took me five minutes to write while I was a little sad. I understand this may seem obvious but i tend to write at my best when I'm in a moment of intense emotion.

"

Some say that the Devil makes them Pay,

Some say.

But to those who don't Pay, I say.

What happens? Do they wander alone

Struggle in the dark, awaiting the day.

If those Pay, some say, one day

they might just fade away.

If they do not, they stick like moths

to a flame they rot.

Pity those who don't Pay, they say

I say, one day, they will fade away.

Because the devil

He makes them Pay.

Short and not so sweet (sums up my writing when it comes to poetry... I'm an amateur and in my A-level class I have been going over the works of Maya Angelou, who is fantastic might I add.
