LonelyA Poem by KHpH7Musings on most lonely points of my life
I was...lonely-
Lying in that bed watching my mother and brother and sister sleep I was...lonely- Seeing the older kids circling me I was...lonely- Watching the gothic kids congregate I was...lonely- standing among the black kids reciting poetry I was...lonely- Being in that house stuck behind those walls staring into darkness I was...lonely- Surrounded by the city and it’s twinkling lights only my baby for comfort I was...lonely- Without my baby Drunken parties Sleepless nights I am...lonely- Working constantly Endless conversations I am never alone but- I am not alright I am...lonely. © 2018 KHpH7Author's Note
