when writing,
lonely love letters,

The pain,

in my chest,

when thinking,

about the future,

The pain,

in my chest,

when imagining,

myself alone forever,

The pain,

in my chest,

just knowing,

I'm not alone in this feeling,

The pain,

in my chest,

doesn't leave,

when I retire to rest,

The pain,

in my chest,

will only leave,

once I've reached death,

The pain,

lets me know,

that I'm still alive,

very interesting! im not a big fan of this style of poetry but you did a good job with it and impressed me! also deep and vivid that pain in your chest sounds deep and painful!
