Growing up is a phenomenon which is the most understated part of life. A person grows up in life at multiple junctions and yet feels small every time he is hit with adversity. He grows up when he gets his pocket money for school and gets to decide how to spend that money. He grows up when he secretly wishes that the teacher makes him sit with his crush. He grows up when he gets his first phone and is told to use it cautiously. He grows up when he talks on the phone for entire nights, fearing that his parents might walk up on him. He grows up when he lies to his mother about the tuition fees so that he can take his girlfriend out for a coffee. He grows up grows up when he bunks his classes to go play PS with his friends. He grows up when for the first time he feels possessive about somebody. He grows up when he gathers the courage to kiss her gf after 6 months of relationship. He grows up when his heart breaks for the first time, the girl he loved left him, while he kept on wondering why? He grows up when he goes to a new place called college, makes new friends and starts to heal. He grows up when he has meaningless relationships just because talking to girls was cool. He grows up when he lands up with somebody totally different, loud and open and he struggles to keep it intact. He grows up when it all falls apart again, but this time he was relieved. He grows up when he decides to be in a relationship with his best friend because he realizes that she has always been there, sorting him out. He grows up when after college he enters the world, sees crazy dreams and sets out to reach them. He grows up when he struggles to feel empowered and doubts his own ability, day in and day out. And then he grows up when that gem of a relationship breaks and she leaves, he yet again wonders for reasons. But this time it was different, this time he was all alone in the wild world which he was scared to face. He did not have that cushion of a relationship to fall back upon and he was out there working to reach his dreams. He never expected this would happen, he had seen dreams of them being together forever. He was broken and hurt. He was like a baby thrown onto a highway. He had no clue what to do. But then he realized that it was just another time he needed to grow up, it was just another experience from which he needed to learn lessons. He started seeing it in a different light with the help of few well-wishing friends, he started becoming what he never was " an independent man. He started realizing the power of his own mind and how he could do wonders if he knew the way to control it. He was growing up again, but this time he was hit the hardest, so he was growing the strongest. He started believing in his own ability, his own dreams and his own visions. He realized how he was the biggest obstacle to his own success because of the negativity he had in mind. He was growing into a positive, independent and confident man who knew he could achieve anything in life, as long he believed that he could. He took this setback and turned it into an opportunity to grow, Because after all it always had been about growing up. So he realizes that it isn't about how life treats you, but how you take whatever happens in life that matters
