To nowhere

Imagining

I am someone

Who is scarred

Who has been

Used

Emotionally beaten 

Battered

Broken

Bruised

By someone

Who promised

The world

And gave

Nothing

In return

I tasted

Rock bottom

So I am a girl

Who runs away

Hiding

From this wild world

Frantic

 Through leafy deep forests

I am the girl

Who kisses the sky

Who flirts with danger

And soaks up the sun

Until I burn

And through it all

I am the girl

Who can see light

Positivity

Love

Joy

Kindness

Hope

Please

Keep smiling

And know

That

In my heart

I can feel you

And one day

I desperately

Such a plaintive, sad write that expresses the 'locked-in' state some people feel themselves in because of past hurts and lack of confidence mixed. So sads to be looking out at a world and not being able to open the curtain fully and let the light in. The piece flows well and is pathos filled.
