I like itA Story by Kathryn SmithI like it when the sky is clear and the stars are out. I like it when the moon is crescent and bright. I like the way the windows of homes have a glow. I like my toes in the grass Or on the cool cement. I like the kind of sky that is cloudless. I like hearing church bells ring. Children sing. I like the smell of lilacs and peach. I like the way music makes me feel. I like the way the sun makes my car warm. I like fresh cut grass. New warm sheets. The crunch of Autumn leaves. I like the whistle of a kettle. A steaming mug of tea. The roar of a jet. The sparkling eyes of an admirer. I like wearing dresses and gowns. And living in my skin of nudity. I like nail polish and lipstick. Nylons and heels. I like being seductive. And making men weak in the knees. I like hot tubs and warm showers. Soft blankets and chocolate. I like vintage history. Museums and paintings. And I like how he loves me. So dirty yet so pure and clean. But most of all I like how I can be Me. © 2017 Kathryn SmithReviews
