EnglandA Poem by Kathryn SmithYou're just another recovering h e a r t Red busses start.
Windows open. Birds sing. Sun rises. The heat melts. Big Ben chimes. People flock the streets. Pride cocoons hearts. Planes land. Maps unfold. Kettles on the stove. Children smile. Tube stations rumble. Feet march and traipse. The world I love comes alive. Cheers to Joe and Andy. To Nicole and Jess. Cheers to Dan and his band. The children of Croydon. The taxi drivers. The tourists. You put me in a good mood. A spark in my eyes. A gate in my step. You make my darkness light. You give me a little of your love. I'm sending you hugs!
