Famous

Famous

A Story by Kathryn Smith

Will you call me when I'm famous?

Will you call my name?

The scariest part about befriending people is you never truly know their real intentions with you.

I've usually had very good luck with people because I have a bizarre ability to touch souls.

For some strange reason I have noticed throughout my life that broken people gravitate to me.

I have had complete strangers open up to me and confess their deepest darkest secrets.

Their regrets.

Their dreams.

What makes them tick.

And then of course I've had the people who have turned their back on me.

Who have left me.

Who have hated me because of my "niceness."

I have had someone recently walk away from me and leave me....when I was nothing but kind and supportive towards them.

I keep asking myself over and over...how do I deserve this? I did nothing to harm them...

And this really made me wonder.

If I became famous - who would still be there for me?

Who would suddenly call and try to hang out?

Would those who turned their backs suddenly return?

Mankind tends to want fortune and fame.

But is it truly worth it?

The minds and actions of people can be quite shallow.

If I were famous for a day - I'd love to see who and what would change.

So how about you?

Would you call me today?

Or would you call me when I'm famous?

Down below is a music video.

I've followed and have had my eye on Nathan Sykes for more than 4 years.

He was in a boy band for a while - whom eventually broke up.

And now he is about to debut his very first album.

I am very excited.

Enjoy! xx

Hi
Famous is overrated as well as is taking exorbitant amounts of time figuring out the meaning of things and how much about us it is (the number of me's and I's in our communication, etc.) We do things because they are right, or we don't. We help, and listen, and we even share sometimes because the other person needs it more than we do. What is done with that information is sometimes out of our control and if our lives are dictated solely upon how one perceives or uses that information then we are not really loving at all. We see what we want to see in people or situations and feel how we want to feel about it. It is more the internal than external. That's any persons part of being famous or not.
