Your Eyes

Your Eyes

A Chapter by Kathryn Smith

I saw your eyes

They floated over my body

My chest

My legs

My shoulders

My neck

My waist

They looked hungry

They looked tired

Helpless

Hopeless

Nervous

Cunning

Loving

Giddy

Awkward

In Pain

Joyous

I saw your eyes

They met mine

And my eyes

They loved yours

A beautiful poem. The description made the words come alive.
"I saw your eyes
They met mine
And my eyes
They loved yours "
Perfect place is when we want the eyes of another upon us. The above line. Perfect and sweet. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
