A Sun Came

A Sun Came

A Chapter by Kathryn Smith

A Sun Came

In purple daybreak

The clouds whispered

She is here

She has come

Let the rain cease

The flowers bloom

I brought the heat in

With a rumble

With a roar

A crash of hope

An airplane soared

Ireland called my name

And on that morning

A sun came

A amazing poem my friend. I enjoyed this series of poetry. Memories, hope and need. Reasons for us to write and create. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry dear Kathryn.

I do so love Ireland and my lovely hubby and I bought our wedding rings there. It says that this is a chapter was it meant to be a poem? I loved some of your lines it brought comfort.
