A scrub is a guy who thinks he's fly and is also known as a b*****d.

Always talking about what he wants and just sits on his broke a*s....

Living as a woman in this society is scaring me, especially when it comes to our dating life and culture.

We have tinder. We have online dating. We have blind dates.

Wait, What?.....Dates?

What are those?

We live in hookup culture now.

It's all about sex.

Isn't there anyone out there who has respect for themselves anymore?

I have been born and raised catholic and I don't plan on sleeping around with random men who might not even like me as some of my peers do.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've been asked if I am a virgin in the past three months.

Since when did that become something everyone wants to know?

Ever notice how being a virgin seems to be frowned upon in society?

And if you aren't a virgin BOOM you're considered a w***e, or a "serial dater" like Taylor Swift? (Btw she is definitely not a serial dater...she's just a girl like me trying to find love.)

I have to laugh to myself because when I am asked that question, I never give the answer. I usually just give an answer that doesnt answer their question at all.

In the end the guy I am speaking with, (every guy has said this so far) goes on to say: "You definitely aren't a virgin. I can tell!"

Well maybe I am.

Then again..maybe I'm not.

I'll never tell.

So, NO! I don’t want your number.

NO. Don’t want none of your time

Remember a few months ago when celebrities "Nudes" were being leaked online left and right?

Remember when Emma Watson gave that incredible speech about being a Lady?

We Women get into deep water sometimes.

Why?

Because of the pressure.

It's not our fault.

"send me a pic."

"do it."

"If you don't do it, I'm breaking up with you."

"No not that kind of pic!...send me a sexy one."

"SEND IT."

It's sad how some Men treat us....and I don't feel bitter, angry, or ashamed of any women who has pictures leaked..

She doesn't deserve getting yelled at.

She doesn't deserve the stink eye either..

No Woman does.

I've been in her shoes too.

It is beyond agonizing for us to fall for a scrub. We become blind and don't want to lose him....so sadly there's only one thing left that we must do to keep him.

Hey Scrubs? You need to change.

You need to learn how to respect Women.

But a scrub's checkin' me and his game is kinda weak
And I know that he cannot approach me

This is an actual conversation I had with an old friend I had not spoken to in years through text: (His name isn't actually Joe)

Joe: Hey Gorgeous

Me: Hey...

Joe: Wanna Cuddle?

Me: Wow!...You seem to like me a lot more than I thought...

Joe: Well no, I just have needs and I want to see you.

Me: So let me get this straight...you don't like me..or want a relationship. But you want to to cuddle?

Joe: ...Yeah. You got it. Come over?

I don't know about you but...WHAT THE HELL?

What is wrong with people these days? Doesn't anyone see what's going on?

Love and intimacy should be between two people who have feelings for each other.

People literally think I'm crazy for thinking that. Isn't that sad?
