Only Love

There comes a time in ones life

when the transient being has to 

take time to understand the realm 

and nature from which love is created.

I lost touch with that realm,

There is something I must say

to the Angel for whatever reason, 

we are sisters in love... 

My adoration for what I believe 

in no way 

lessens my admiration for you,

nor were my desires a dark thing

to hurt, whatever that is worth.

It is because of that love,  

that my life became a shadow,

a moment that stretched into eternity.

Falseness has never been a cloak

I cared to wear, but wear it I did,

reasons thrust upon me against my will 

this reality, and they will believe 

what they will, 

but God knows my heart is filled 

and my smile contrite.

I can never return to the bosom of the

family unit, because I still feel

what I can not help but feel,

any more or less than anyone who loves,

does that mean I am evil or unkind,

how can any form of love be evil? 

It was not my original intention to 

seize or take away

only to find peace with love and my

self recriminations without fascade.

should the eyes of God ever look upon me,

with the same affections, I would hope

that you would know that I would not

love the angels less, but neither would

I hesitate. 

But do not be threatened or disheartened

by this truth, nor find hurtful pain,

for there is no personal malice 

hidden within these walls, only love.

It is true, I was the first to love,

the first of many, the heart wants 

what it will, with no volitions,

but of that the mind is the arbiter

time the healer, faith the constructer

of beauty, and love the unconditional

dream.
