Gusto

Gusto

A Poem by Eve

All the words in the world
daybreak into precipitancy
fat gusto skylines
skyjackers making sexy
sounds of soul arousal
excited, heedful, knowing,
avuncular shout outs
warning, daring the truth
to the benighted and benevolent
love all your tomorrows
hidden away today
with passionate bliss
for all to become one
inculpable and clear
consciousness
shining like a white ballet
vibrating new genetic code
as was originally intended
nothing need be taken away
but fear and loathing.
Oh beautiful world
idle eyes
there is much purposefulness
in loving and giving
sensitize our sucklings
to a brighter day
where a will to wind blows
all bruise and blemish away
from their desolate eyes
each child has a gift
unwrapped in themselves
trying to bleed from their
wrists like London fog
singers , artists, dancers
buried under unrealized
potential, find the gift
and you find the child
moon walking in fedoras
and handing out chocolate
kisses to precious life,
children are the key
to utopia prosperity.
Why would we leave them
unloved, oh sleepy world
babes of resplendent glow
Arise!

You have real "Gusto" my sweetheart.
And it shines through your ray of words here.
Such a rich meaning behind it, and a
huge message within it.

Thank you very much!
Loved it.

Goodluck! you're the best!
You know you are a sports addict, when poems remind you of the Olympics!

I'm fond of your writing for Utopia.

a beautiful stream of words. they flow effortlessly into the defining last lines,

children are the key
to utopia prosperity.
Why would we leave them
unloved, oh sleepy world
babes of resplendent glow
Arise!

Thanks so much :)
An intellectual, emotional and financial investment in our children--by families and immediate communities, not primarily through government, big or small--guarantees a more harmonious future.
But, of course, Somerista, you've said this, and more, far lovelier than I ever could.
What high-minded inspiration you offer!
