Afterlife Aftermath: Envious Shade

Afterlife Aftermath: Envious Shade

A Poem by L0v3craft
"

Brief insight on what a ghost feels when he/she has not lived life to the fullest.

"

After feeble attempts to regain what was lost to me in time

I solemnly gaze upon the mirrored world that echoes shadowed Life.

In despair I watch the colorful things around me walk and breathe precious vitality,

Unaware of the gray memory lingering in the shadows and haunting with regret.

Anger ensues and cripples the soul’s elasticity.

This is probably how my ol toaster feels after it went out on me and sees the new one I got. Poor ol toaster...nothing lasts forever.
