It's Fun To Watch Shadows Drown.

It's Fun To Watch Shadows Drown.

A Poem by L0v3craft
"

Surreal poetry...again :]]

"

A conspiracy of crows drinks from tangerine-bloated streams

Beyond the gulf of weather-beaten dreams.

Shadows trip upside down;

In the floating gulf of phantom eyes, I watch them drown.

Preparing to breathe down a spider-neck’s boney back thighs,

My clever lil’ lungs pollinated air with subtitled sighs.

I resurrect the shadows from within

Only because I wanted to watch them drown again.

twisted and sweet ...like a candy you cannot eat, die of hunger while a deadly treat slips from your hands to fall to your feet. :) I like this poem PSA!

Wonderful! Beautiful surrealism!

your writing has a strong tendency to pull you in with each line, I noticed. That's good work

like that, '...ooga-booga.' and, very much like this razor sharp penning. flow and verse grab and hold - excellent!

This makes me think of something you would find from Alan Moore, like a small script in a graphic novel, writing on a wall so to speak.

Great read, I really enjoy this type of poetry and it had been a while since I had read one this good. I love the title and how it encompasses the whole poem perfectly.
