The End of Autumn

The End of Autumn

A Poem by L0v3craft
"

A story told in one [very long] sentence.

"
And in fathomless dreams vacant of illusions
transparent within the thick vines
veiling the once conspicuous sun within the bosom of Night,
there came the silent breath of Fall with all its beauty and grace
through the distant whispers of restless leaves
translating the Earth's ancient tongue long lost to Man's memory
in which may only be summoned within dreams from the dormant conscious;
driven to recall such a language not even words dare to recite
and depict with molding imagery.

One of my favorite styles when it comes to poetry is writing a very long sentence that tells a story. God I love doing it, its writing art from the rawest forms of the imagination :]

Superb metaphors, I'm a little shocked that you've only received one review. Your minds eye is intriguing in the way you interpret your words. Loved it. Great poem. Or should I say sentence?
