Fair Warning

Fair Warning

A Poem by L0v3craft
"

Short, simple, non-rhyming...and purely done out of silly-eccentric whim. Probably garbage to most people. Meant to tickle the absurd humor in writers/poets like me.

"

*Looks around nervously*

Hey, man...we don't talk about that around here.
The naked ice cream man will hear us--oh, yes.
He'll bubble your flute within floating blades of grass,
he'll march the penguin dance of forever doom;
cloak the land in darkness where the moon screams her orgasm
and births the stars to light up the night--oh, yes.
Paper clips--noooooooooooooooooo!
They're coming to take me away!!

I really liked this. I don't find it absurd at all. I'm sure what it means to me is different than how you wrote it but it all makes sense in my head. David Bowie/Beatles/Dr. Demento in a blender song lyrics to be exact. There is some real genius in here. I will be reading more of your writings. Bubble your flute and Forever Doom...love it.

I dig it. Absurdity is the name of the best of the bottom of the best of the worst games.

"...cloak the land in darkness where the moon screams her orgasm
and births the stars to light up the night..."

Apollinairesque? Bataillesque?

one or the other or none ..doesn't matter....had fun reading this.

If I told you I understood what was going on, I'd by lying outright.
Still like it though !
Strange, but funny write.

Yours truly,
