Gentle Breeze

Gentle Breeze

A Poem by Paradigm86400

Gentle breeze that swept morning dew,

Marched small steps"as leaves flew.

There stood my fair lady,

And there she gone…

Frames flashed on and stayed ever same.

Tomorrow will be the day!

But then, tomorrow never came…

Gentle breeze that dried my lips,

Shortened days"yet lengthened nights.

Gentle breeze that whispered fear and whispered glee

Please lengthen the days but shorten the night!

Gentle breeze that swept morning dew,

Perused small steps"saw life anew.

There stood my fair lady,

And there she gone…

Frames flashed on and stayed never same.

Gentle breeze… oh gentle breeze…

Please blow gently yonder my fair lady.

Gentle breeze… gentle breeze…

Where are you my gentle breeze…?

Lovely poem. Very well written. And oh how disappointing it can be what the time just flys by and and each frame begins to fade, and slip away. Such a lovely write. :-)
