Dream's Lullaby

Dream's Lullaby

A Poem by Paradigm86400

In the time of yesteryear,

Love was made clear,

And happiness fulfilling"

If in morrow’s sight

Love become blight,

And happiness confounding,

May you find life instilling"

Even when dreams are betraying.

And the future leaking"

When love’s denying

And the present inflicting,

The world is never changing"

In times of sorrow,

Mind not tomorrow,

But lay down your head,

And maintain your stead.

Forms may contort,

And emotions distort;

But what is True" will remain True.

So lay down; close your eyes;

And listen to a dream’s lullaby.
