Sanctuary

Sanctuary

A Poem by Travis

Bookshelves dark like night, sans the stars

Lined with color after color

Story after story

Bright red beanbag

Caved in from late night reads

Maroon sheets mask the mattress

Littered with stack after stack

Story after story

Nightstand filled with the Mt. Everest of

Pencil and eraser shavings

Trashcan fed with crumpled papers

Dark purple laptop case

Lying across desk, laptop filled

Document after document

Story after story

Sitting in chair, rolled out

Lying face first on desk, fast asleep

Author's Note

Travis
I'm starting to post stuff from my Creative Writing class at school, so I'm just going to post them all at once or maybe a few a day.

This one is a poem describing my room that I had to do for class.
