Reunited Deparature

i can now realize
the pain
the inhumane torment
of being the one
in repeat

i tried to erase
the face
and the attached regretting,
clear my mind
give me peace

feel the air
the breeze
flow through my sadness
take my love
on that breeze

you're like the tree
in the midst
of a thousand saplings
and im but one
stuck inbetween

but when i thot
i had it all
in one fleeting picture
the camera flashed
cropped me clean

dont erase
dont replace
the dress still to be altered
i'll cut the stitch
sow the seam


give me a chance
to enhance
the portrait once missing
pieces together
picture complete
