I cant do poems but i gave it a go

Like i say in the title, I cant do this poetry junk-funk but i ended up writing this while typing aimlessly on my laptop. C'est la vie, eh? :) xxx

 

If I came and found you now,

Covered in lies, purged of sins,

Would you even know how,

To talk me down, keep me sane,

Hold me close to your heart.

 

I know that you don’t want someone who is broken,

You want someone who’s the best.

I cant be that person,

I'm just as fragile as the rest.

 

See through her mask,

Like you did through mine,

See her lies and deceit,

Read her eyes.

 

And when you’re the broken,

When she’s moved on,

I’d like to say I wont be here for you,

But if I did I’d be wrong.
