Perfect Father

Perfect Father

A Poem by XxToxicAngelxX
"

My dad was an acholic so yeh.

"

I thought you would be the perfect father,
The one I would be proud to walk around with.
But you weren’t a perfect father, you were everything but.
Before that nasty accident and that nasty drink took you from me,
You were the perfect father.
But now you are lost within yourself,
I don’t think you will ever find out of the hole you have gotten yourself into.
You never were mean, you were just sarcastic.
You never judged me, you loved me.
But all that has changed.
I’m so lost without the man I loved as a child.
Whatever happened to the Perfect Father?
I need you, I still love you, I can’t stand to be without you any longer.
Can’t you see I still want a Perfect Father?
A man to love me,
A man that will tell me everything will be ok,
A man that will let my tears flow free.
Can’t you see?
I need you,
More then you will ever know.
