Lily from BrooklynA Poem by SkyVyThis for somebody I know that's very talented and special!
A little flower
Dangling from a thread Just barely on the ground The wind is its enemy Always pushing and pulling it away A city place called Brooklyn With little plants and green Hold on to the lily The ground hold it tight So it wouldn't fly away The flower stands out From the path and road Surviving the city Surviving Brooklyn People may go and come But the ground will hold the flower And the flower will hold tight Because surviving it all Is the Lily from Brooklyn~ © 2017 SkyVyAuthor's Note
