What I Know I Am

What I Know I Am

A Poem by Airila
"

As I step in the door today I get fed with bullshit

"

Of all the things I am....I'll never be who YOU expect me to be
I'm a girl who doesn't know know how to do anything else but write poetry and take pictures
I'm a diabetic with over 300 scars and doesn't eat [more like snack]
I'm an emotional wreck who's gone through too much in this short lifespan
I'm the one everyone decides to cast aside like my feelings don't matter
I'm the one who they judge, telling me I'm a w***e n I'm this and I'm that
I'm the one who they try to take advantage of just because I'm weak
I'm the one everyone feels sorry for as soon as they find out I'm diabetic
I'm the girl who sits in the back of the class away from everyone
I'm the failure of the family, never amounting to anything
I'm the stranger, the reject, the pathetic, the everything you choose to hate
I'm the crybaby
I'm the overly emotional
I'm weak
I'm broken
I'm nothing
I'm no one.

What is there really to say about me? I don't believe in confirmation to society's norms. You are who you choose to be. Me? I'm the passionately passionate object of your passion. I am who you think y.. more..
