A Failure Am I

A Failure Am I

A Poem by Airila

A failure am I for loving you
A failure am I for thinking love exists
A failure am I for feeling
A failure am I for living

A failure am I for thinking with my heart
A failure am I for searching for love
A failure am I for letting love find me
A failure am I for believing in true love

A failure am I for not keeping my guard
A failure am I for opening up
A failure am I for feeling
A failure am I for believing in you

A failure am I for caring
A failure am I for wishing
A failure am I for hoping
A failure am I for needing

A failure am I for crying
A failure am I for smiling
A failure am I for loving
A failure am I for hating

A failure am I for wanting
A failure am I for praying
A failure am I for trying
A failure am I for failing

A failure...right to the very end
This is the end
This is my end
This is your end
This is our end
My time is near
Execution has arrived
Limp body hanging for micro seconds
After flailing for life
Stops moving in death
My demise has arrived
Opened armed does the goddess welcome me
Broken heart and all
Scarred, incomplete and alone
Unloved, wounded and betrayed
Object of all's hatred
A failure am I at everything
Meaningful or no
This is my self-righteous suicide
Faded halo....Eternal Flame...dead.
