Funny I should come upon this poem of yours first, after my Nostalgia. Seems a precursor to what just happened in my life, lol. She is gone on the winds, sailing on a breeze over oceans deep. Yet her spirit can be seen in the waves.
I like it. Thank you for sharing.
Well, the overall sense that I get here is that sometimes move on (let go) from failed relationships in a healthy and respectful manner, without holding bitterness and a grudge.
Sometimes some things just ain't meant to be.
But the lessons that we learn can make us better people.

I could sense strong emotions displayed in this poem.. Repetition in first three lines gives a great flow to poem..
And the last two lines hold such a strong impact..
Loved it :)
Your words paint an elegant sad image, goodbye, adieu, let go... and I think of death, how it can be beautiful like Your second verse... how we can sense, feel and know, what lays beyond our life. well done my dear, wonderful words.
Such a sadness of words.. so final, so desperate. Your first stanza paints a dark and stark picture but, the second verse seems almost kind, as if easing her flight away from you... a welcome death, perhaps.. it happens.
