Idle Beings

Idle Beings

A Poem by PandaPeaceful

Your hand lays on my cheek,
Warming it, kissing it, caring for it.
Your eyes melt into mine,
and I feel myself fading.
Like a glooming star,
I see your very heart beating.
For waves collide when we talk.
For your very voice,
conceals the fear within me.
When your footsteps walk away,
My heart aches and begs for more.
But, I can't feel you anymore.
The voice I once admired
lays empty without compassion.
So tell me, love.
How does it feel?
Do you see me, before you?
My vacant body lays with you, doesn't it?
For I once, trusted you deeply.
For you were my end and my beginning.
But your deadly sway shrunk my figure,
and your eyes, your damn eyes,
Inhaled my very being,
...Until I was crumpling,
piece by piece,
into anything but 'me'.

A realistic feel to the words. I could feel the questions and the fading away. I liked the flow of thoughts leading to honest ending. Thank you my friend for sharing the powerful poetry.
