Selfish

Selfish

A Poem by PandaPeaceful

If I could swallow the universe,
The world would be dark.

If stories were real,
God would pardon mine.

If the wind were revenge,
Souls would breathe in bed.

If I could swim safe in the dark,
Light would crumble me whole.

If life were a myth,
Blood would be spared.

But a moment full of if's,
is a period of regret.
For we act,
and we cause,
but we never forgive.

I really enjoy it. In our life we keep saying "if's" we do this and do that this or that will happen. And that cause us to regret.

Indeed we do. Thank you for the review Fairy!
Great wisdom shared dear Poet,
"But a moment full of if's,
is a period of regret.
For we act,
and we cause,
but we never forgive."
The above lines. True and real. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
