Take me backA Poem by PandaPeaceful
Beauty rose from darkness,
Light poured into the scene, Dragging color and sentiment with it, and yet, Somewhere in the distance, Emptiness remained, She felt it, She could nearly enter it, But she didn't, She stayed good, She stayed innocent, Because she had to, For them and for him, Oh, but how she wanted mystery, and lust and eternal freedom, 'Will it ever come?' She asked herself, Clouds covered the isolated compass, A silence as deafening as the unwanted truth, emerged from utter blackness, And she waited, And waited, Until life developed and inhaled her very image. She touched his neck and smiled, Laughter covered her swollen lips, She was happy, She was in love, But like an hourglass, Time disappeared, And so did the memory. 'Take me back!' She screamed. 'Take me back to the good places." And just like that, She escaped.
