Two souls, one body

Two souls, one body

A Poem by Charlie
"

A thing or two about dedication and love

"
Take good care of me
Treat like me like me
Love me like I love myself
Love and love me until I blow
Pump me up with never ending affection until I explode
Don't whisper sweet nothings and lonesome
I want you to stick with me for the longtime
Bind our souls
Sew our limbs
And breathe the same air through our collided lungs
To be molded physically and mentally with you is a pleasurable dream
I desire to be yours just as much as you be mine
Forever and ever, our passions intertwine
Look at me through your perfect lenses
View me the best way you can
I'll exchange my sacred for my heart if you do the same
We can be each other's diaries
Bury our secrets and slip them in-between the layers of our brains
Or maybe glue our hands together so we'll never separate
I'm one half and you're the other piece
Let's make it official
Just you and me

Yes, indeed. You've written this piece in one long flow, and it tells quite a lot.

It makes me think, of what a vulnerable woman needs and deserves from a guy. Perhaps, partly inspired from real-life experiences.?

To be sure, the ideal is for a fair and committed partnership between a woman and her man. Often, so much easier said than done; even when a couple think that the chemistry is all there.

Thanks for sharing, Charlie. I accept "read requests" too, on this site.

I'm 16 and a girl, ironic since I have a boy name. I'm a poet and I play an acoustic guitar from time to time. I really like grunge, punk rock music but I enjoy other genres. I sing as well, probably .. more..
