There goes my patience

There goes my patience

A Poem by Charlie

Slipping through my fingers
Leaking through the cracks
Oh, I hate that feeling that lingers
Waiting for you to come back
Back into my arms you belong
I know you miss me
It won't take long
For you to come back
Where you belong
I try to catch you whenever you fall
Like a mother to her birdlings
You might not know at all
But I notice the little things
One day at a time
That's what it takes to get through
I long to wrap you in mine
All that can say is
I love you

Some happy, thoughtful thinking and wishing going on there! A Christmas love song with jingle bells perhaps?

About
I'm 16 and a girl, ironic since I have a boy name. I'm a poet and I play an acoustic from time to time. I really like grunge, punk rock music but I enjoy other genres. I sing as well, probably my bigg.. more..
