Goodnight tomorrow

Goodnight tomorrow

A Poem by Silvanus Silvertung
"

Nonsense verse

"

Friend of freedom, freedoms verse

are you really that adverse?

to veering here and zipping off

to sweetly sickening sorrow's cough?

Goodnight tomorrow, it's been a day

it's time to go to yesterday

the moon is moving for its worth

and weirdly i am cracked with mirth

When will water ever come?

to dry the desert's kingly crumb

the crumbling crackling, fire's all wet

and yet the lady will never fret

True it is that I am gone

this voice, this body has outgrown

no one's here to say hello

this voice you here is old and hollow

Hear me lark, before you sink

secrets are mine, not of your wing

the winking wiggling, whistling worms

are lovely when the girl squirms

Out of here and in my pocket

I think it's deadly let me poke it

pretty much it surely is

but let me make sure it's surely his

Hear me hand, before you bye

let me nibble let me bite

I'm but a mortal stronger now

not yet knowing all of Tao.
