The dance

The dance

A Poem by Silvanus Silvertung
"

Community college dance was HOT

"

Dressed in dresses as lovely as kisses,

the dance floor entrances my wandering eyes.

Rubbing their asses the girlish masses,

look up with their faces at vigorish guys

Their minds on the lasses their hands making passes

the wriggling races reach out for the beat.

Entranced in their dances the couples take chances

their feet pounding ancestry up through the heat.

The music blares badness the couples court nudeness

as groins work like geishas to capture the craze.

Passionate poses and heart beating bodies

their rhythmical ribaldry gripping my gaze
