There is a Time

...I think there is a time

to just lay back and let it all unfold,

    to succumb to fingers of grass

      and see what the fleeting clouds hold.

But there are other times

when its necessary to take a stand

   for all thats right and good and holy,

    to be brave, to be bold.

There is a time 

when its okay to be silent

    and the time when we must

      let our voice be heard.

There are times to be a wallflower

sitting on the sidelines, not uttering a word,

   and the times we must take 

      center stage and sing and dance....

There are the days we must take action

and the ones when we can leave it all to chance.

funny how as we get older, we worry less if at all....the timing was never ours anyway was it?
