We DanceA Poem by mysticgmekeeprWinter has been long, heavy and extended like a ladder; its lessons deep and reaching. Pricking thought with a thorn from a rose remembered as well as a new one being created from two faithful strains. We take our daily steps tentatively through the land mines of each others minutia; two solitary shared rhythms..... We thaw into a smile, our frostbitten hearts begin to melt under the weight of shared wounds and frozen toes tap, stars are earned on life charts for elementary accomplishments and the movement toward spring pushes us on to middle school, brushing with an awkward kiss, a quick adolescent strip tease losing the thin slip of imagination, dizzy, we dance. © 2010 mysticgmekeeprReviews
