Banshee poetry stuck

in zoned out twilights,

pushing limit's buttons

  'midst emotional roller 

     coaster high tides,

saw Jesus before his

 proverbial crowning glory,

surmised lucid perceptions

  hallucinating near death, 

standing at the precipice

 awaiting remedial refrains,

antagonistic muse took the

 train of transverse allusions

   plummeting 'neath benignly

    brash metaphorical confusion, 

precariously peering beyond

  artless translations farthermost

    utterly chaotic imagination,

shrill screams of nil 'tween

apparition's looking like fated

    glass delusions, attempting

        to escape the ballistic

    banter of a curiouser revised

                  otherworldly dimension

Banshee is is a female spirit in Irish mythology who heralds death.

Love how this flows, more like a scream, than a stream of consciousness, full of lucid perceptions, yet the strongest thought to me is hallucigens of chaotic imaginations, despite the fact that the overall piece is so clear and concise. Your words here certainly push limits buttons, so many wonderful lines in this piece that it begs a second, third and more reading. Love it.

well yes, i see this reflecting how some poems just scream out to be heard, but send the reader fleeting in all directions at once...the chaos of feelings that can happen...

sometimes as poets the words scream at us to be heard and written down...but we fail to hear the screams...
